Wednesday, August 01, 2007    S2000 sales dip again in July   More bad news for S2000 sales - July shows another serious dip from last year. And it's getting worse. June sales were only 72% of the prior year. July sales are only 62% of the prior year. While an analysis of the curve in June predicted sales for calendar year 2007 would be approx. 4100 cars, my new prediction is under 4000. This from a high of 9682 in 2002. A British website has interviewed Honda about the new 2008 CR model - which they won't get. Honda of Britain, however, suggests they may get it in 18 months after all. That means the current S2000 could live thru the 2010 model year.
