As usual, Honda's domestic market website for the S2000 is considerably more developed than the one for North America - in fact there is no comparison.
The latest addition is a video of the Type S, narrated by one of it's engineers.
The Type S features suspension enhancements, aero enhancements, and a unique cloth interior. The suspension is tuned for "winding roads" (as they say it), and it's more mild than the American-only CR model. The interior is identical to the CR. The ties are standard-sized RE050s instead of the larger-stagger RE070s the CR gets. And as you see it has the convertible top, meaning it doesn't get the unique shock-tower tie brace.
And, as is also usual, they get a number of colors in their S2000s which we have never seen in North America. There is also a nav system which would be useful for back-roads driving here, and which is a requirement to navigate thru any major city there.

Hint: the site is in Japanese, but if you hold your button over a link and look at the status bar at the bottom of your browser, you'll see a URL with a name that is indicative of the purpose of the link. For example, there are section specific to the engine, body, and cockpit.
