The Most Interesting Man in the World is a series of television commercials for Dos Equis beer. The character of the Most Interesting Man is played by Jonathan Goldsmith, portraying a sophisticated and worldly man who has done nearly everything there is to do. Each commercial features several of his current and past exploits, and ends with his signature line “I don’t always drink beer, but when I do, I prefer Dos Equis” and “Stay thirsty, my friends”. Snappy lines like “When in Rome, they do as he does” and “He bowls… overhand” add to the legend.
His current exploits usually revolve around at least two sexy women, and such things as feeding his cat – actually a pet cougar! And past exploits involve feats such as kayak skydiving. Here’s an example:
But like all great commercials, multiple parodies are inevitable (as eventually happened with the Geico Cavemen series). Here’s one that related to our favorite hobby:

And then there is the opposite: the Least Interesting Man in the World (“He doesn’t drink beer. He’s not thirsty and has no friends. He is the least interesting man in the world.”).
