Driving: that’s what it’s all about. The best pure driving machines adapt themselves to either back road or track and are perfectly at home on each. The Toyota 86/Subaru BRZ is an excellent example of this increasingly rare kind of driving enthusiast’s car.
It’s been a while since Toyota created a video highlighting the Toyota GT86 (or even the late Scion FR-S) video. The last was the incredible set of 157 (!) videos created by Toyota of Japan showing the 86 driving the Tōge (back roads) of Japan – an excellent video series for people interested in someday driving around Japan (like ourselves). We have them here for your viewing enjoyment.
Now Toyota of Great Britain has created a series of 6 commemorative GT86s, painted in the racing colors of the past. And the matching video shows them enjoying the back roads of Britain, not Japan. But the interest is the same: driving the cars on terrific roads as the Toyota GT86 was meant to be driven.
We’d suggest full screen for this beautiful video, with medium sound. Enjoy the cars and the scenery!
