According to this weeks The Car Connection, Ford is upping it’s advertising budget for Q4 by 50% over last year’s Q4 (when the F150 was launched very successfully). The ads will focus on “The Year of the Car” products – the new Mustang, Five Hundred, Freestyle – as well as the revamped Super Duty (sort of the “anti-year of the car”). Ford remains the top-selling brand in the USA this year.
