Toyota is now testing the 86 at the Nurburgring development center. That means testing on back roads and small town streets now, as well as on the famous track.
This is a final prototype, in production form. Take away the camo, change wheels, and this is the final car. Gone is all the silliness of the last Scion concept, and that’s very good news for us. In our opinion, form should always follow function, and very clearly that is what Toyota believes as well. Only the high wing, fortunately an option, stretches that rule. That kind of downforce is hardly needed on a 200 HP car.
